Dr Rajesh Mehta is a Consultant Anaesthetist at Barts and University College Hospital NHS Trusts. After completing his anaesthetic training at UCLH he undertook a clinical research fellowship at The Royal Marsden Hospital specialising in the management of patients with head and neck cancer. He has since developed an interest in managing patients with challenging airways undergoing major craniofacial surgery and has over 10 years experience in this field. Working closely with Mr Simon Eccles he provides anaesthetic care to patients requiring craniofacial and aesthetic facial plastic surgery in a busy Central London practice. Dr Mehta is actively involved in teaching and training at both under and postgraduate level. He is a member of the charity “Facing The World”, which conducts annual surgical missions to Vietnam treating children and young adults with congenital facial deformity.
